im just browsing ebay, and coming across a big bore kit, and stroker crank combo. i had my bike out in the sand dunes in september, and kind of hurt my quad. something is messed up in the transmission, and im thinking top end went lean due to ground issue on pc5 being as my bike is a 06, and they had issues with this. i figure motor has to be torn apart for trans, and potential top end. so i might as well beef it up while its apart right? i found a kit on ebay. its a 780cc big bore kit. it has a new cylinder, piston, cam chain, and 5mm hot rod stroker crank. its $920. is it worth it? what other mods will i need to support this? ie, head work, throttle body, injector, clutching, transmission upgrades? and what not. i already have a pc5, and am looking into a good dual exhaust as well. i mainly ride trails, but now see our group doing a once maybe twice a year trip to the dunes. so there will be tight technical stuff, but also so wide open riding as well for the type of riding we do. im 6'6 and 330#. so i could use the extra power as well. how would this affect reliability? is having a stroker crank causing me to do more maintenance on it. or more tear downs?
